Are you trying to grow your own Mary Kay business? Are you struggling using the techniques you have been told to use by the company? Have you come to that point where you REALLY want to see your downline explode and finally see some progress with your Mary Kay business? Well, you have come to the right place, because that is exactly what I want to help you with.
But before we’ll get to that, let’s make something clear – if you are using the techniques that the company has told you to use, working your “warm market”, trying to grow your business by talking to friends and family, giving out samples and business cards and all that stuff, it is time to STOP! These techniques may have worked fine for 50, 40 and perhaps even 30 years ago, but time has changed and today these techniques causes nothing but a 97 % high failure rate in this industry. And therefore, if you really want to succeed with your Mary Kay business, you have to forget all about working your warm market and all that stuff, and start doing things right. This is what will make your downline explode:
1. Know your audience! This is really what marketing is all about – you have to target your market and stop thinking that “everyone” is your prospects. Your family and friends are not your prospects, so stop trying and convince them that they need these products or even the opportunity. Instead, you should only be spending your time on people with an already existing need for the benefit of your product.
2. Understand the benefit of your product. The fact is that people don’t really buy products, they buy solutions to their problems. So, you need to understand the benefits of the products and become the solution provider.
3. The lifeline to your Mary Kay business is really leads. So you need to get MANY leads, and there are actually two ways to get them. You can spend money getting leads, buying them from list brokers, or you can create them for free online. Actually this is where 1. and 2. are important, because the only way you will get good quality leads is if you know your audience and understand the benefit of your product.
4. In order to ever succeed with your Mary Kay business you have to position yourself as the expert. The way to do this and get leads as well, is to create a data capture page (squeeze page), and this is really a very important step towards exploding your downline.
If you are still reading I’m sure that you REALLY want get your Mary Kay business going, and therefore I’d suggest that you stop doing what you have been doing, because it just isn’t working! And then start educating yourself in marketing and learn exactly how to put the above into your business and start exploding that downline of yours and then – you will finally succeed with your Mary Kay business.
